ADEC

American Distance Education Consortium

ADEC is a non-profit distance education consortium composed of approx-mately 65 state universities and land-grant colleges. The consortium was conceived and developed to promote the creation and provision of high quality, economical distance education programs and services to diverse audiences, by the land grant community of colleges and universities, through the most appropriate information technologies available.

The e-Soils archive will hold a collection of teaching materials -- called learning objects -- related to Soil Science education. Each learning object is a discrete, reusable, digital resource that is available to support teaching and learning.

 

MedBiq

MedBiquitous

MedBiquitous Consortium is the ANSI-accredited developer of information technology standards for healthcare education and competence assessment. Our members are creating a technology blueprint for professional healthcare education. Based on XML and Web services standards, this blueprint will seamlessly support the learner in ways that will improve patient care and simplify the administrative work associated with education and competence assessment. MedBiquitous also provides a neutral forum for educators and industry alike to exchange ideas about innovative uses of Web technologies for healthcare education and communities of practice.

MERLOT is a leading edge, user-centered, searchable of , higher education, online learning materials created by registered members, and a set of faculty development support services. MERLOT's vision is to be a premiere online community where faculty, staff, and students from around the world share their learning materials and pedagogy.   MERLOT's strategic goal is to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning by increasing the quantity and quality of peer reviewed online learning materials that can be easily incorporated into faculty designed courses.

Minnesota Online Digital Exchange

MODE was developed with a focus on exchanging and  promoting shared high-quality digital learning content across our Minnesota State Colleges and Univerisities system. MODE can support and provide access to digital content to support learning and course development across the system in credit, noncredit and customized training.

The New Media Consortium (NMC) is an international 501(c)3 not-for-profit consortium of nearly 200 leading colleges, universities, museums, corporations, and other learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies.
